Boarded to Built provides professional property services. All service engagements are custom-scoped and confirmed in writing prior to commencement.
Custom-Scoped Engagements
All Boarded to Built service engagements are custom-scoped and confirmed in writing prior to field commencement. Every engagement letter, service agreement, and dispatch confirmation documents the specific scope of work, pricing, timeline, and access requirements before any work begins.
Non-Refundable Completed Work
Fees for completed field services are non-refundable. Once a field inspection, board-up, securing operation, or condition assessment has been performed, the associated service fee is earned and final. This applies regardless of property outcome, subsequent condition change, or disposition decision.
Cancellation of Unperformed Services
If a scheduled service has not yet been performed, cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled service window. Written cancellation may be submitted via email to contactus@boardedtobuilt.com with the property address, service type, and scheduled date.
Frequently asked about refunds.
What counts as "completed work"?
Any service for which a field inspector has been dispatched and reached the property — including drive-bys, exterior inspections, interior assessments, board-up operations, and emergency response calls — is considered completed work.
What if conditions at the property prevented service?
If our field team cannot access or perform the requested service due to conditions outside their control, we will reschedule at no additional charge or issue a service credit for the affected scope.
What about subscription monitoring fees?
Monthly monitoring subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel a subscription at any time with 30-day written notice, effective at the next billing cycle.
How do I submit a cancellation request?
Email contactus@boardedtobuilt.com with subject line "Service Cancellation" — include your property address, service type, and the scheduled date. Cancellations received less than 48 hours before service may not be honored.
