Field Technician — Vacant Property Monitoring

Field Technicians are the backbone of our monitoring platform. You will perform exterior-only inspections of vacant properties, documenting condition, board integrity, and signs of risk.

  • Conduct scheduled exterior inspections
  • Photograph boards, doors, windows, and surrounding conditions
  • Document signs of tampering, squatting, or municipal postings
  • Submit reports via mobile device on the same day
  • Maintain professional presence and discretion on-site

Independent Contractor

Property Appearance Specialist

Improve the visual condition of boarded properties by painting existing boards to create a clean, intentional, and cared-for appearance. This is a cosmetic role only — no boarding, no repairs, no structural work.

  • Paint existing boards uniformly or per approved custom design
  • Remove graffiti and weathered appearances
  • Maintain clean edges and professional finishes

Best for: Painters, handymen, artists with discipline and professionalism, contractors who want fast, repeatable work.

Project-Based / Per-Deal

Rehab & Transition Partner

Step in after monitoring when an asset is ready to be repositioned, flipped, or stabilized for sale or occupancy. These are experienced operators, not entry-level contractors.

  • Evaluate vacant assets for rehab or repositioning
  • Provide budgets, timelines, and execution plans
  • Perform light to full rehabs depending on project scope
  • Coordinate with ownership and Boarded to Built on transitions

Best for: Experienced flippers, small-to-mid size rehab firms, operators comfortable working with institutional owners.

Commission-Based or Hybrid

Portfolio Growth Director

Responsible for securing large, multi-property contracts with banks, municipalities, insurers, and institutional owners. This is a relationship-driven role, not transactional sales.

  • Identify and pursue portfolio-level opportunities
  • Build relationships with decision-makers
  • Present Boarded to Built programs and phased rollouts
  • Close pilot programs that expand into long-term contracts
